Chinese New Year Cultural Night :D

Chinese New Year Cultural Night was held on 12 Feb 2011
at the UNESCO Heritage site, Penang.

Being a Penangite, how can you miss this wonderful night
that has shown us the olden days of Penang.
We don't get to see,
but
We get to know..
The days where our Grandparents, Great Grandparent even Great Great Grandparent
lived..

and this night has attracted uncountable
visitor from every corner of the world to pay a visit to this
lovely island.

So here we GO!

The temporary gate
which enhance the mood of the Chinese New Year :D


and the site has divided into different historical time tunnel..
they have 1 main stage and 14 mini stages
Its a
HUGE
HUGE
event :D

have been shown on the day
some I don't even seen it before in my life!
the one really catch my eyes was
English Angora Rabbit, it has long hair that makes it looks like
TEDDY BEAR!

I was born in a Hakka Spoken Family,
and Im here to try out the
HAKKA Traditional Food
which i've not tried before

besides Chinese
the Marriage Street also showed
Malay and Indian's Marriages.
The Traiditional Chinese's Marriage has also exhibited there
GLORIOUS!

They don't use plastic
they use paper!

12 a.m.
Fireworks time!
I'm sure that lot of money has burnt and turned into Fireworks!
Penangite are RICH!
